Variable curve swimming flipper - has axial rib to limit curvature with v-shaped notches along its length

The swimming flipper has an axial rib (1) to give a variable inclination of the fin and limiting the curvature of a long and supply fin. The rib is made of rubber, preferably hardened, and has V-shaped notches (2,3,4,5,6) along its length. The notches are not evenly spaced so that the length of the rigid sectors (7,8) vary. The sectors bend around the ends of the notches, which form hinges, and the faces of the notches form stops to limit the curvature of the fin.
