PURPOSE:To reduce resonance vibrations of a side plate with a simple construction by a method wherein air exists between the side plate of a tank of an oil-immersed electrical apparatus equipped with plural number of reinforcing stays attached to the side plate and a flat plate is squeezed by means of the relative movements of both plates. CONSTITUTION:Bolts 10 with strong rigidity are fixed to the plural number of places on a side plate 2 enclosed by reinforcing stays 3, the plural number of places being the joints of the vibration mode of the side plate. A flat plate 12 is supported by these bolts in such a way that the plate can be fixed to or detached from the side plate, in addition, that it is fixed to the side plate at a certain suitable position. A gap lying between the side plate 2 and the flat plate 12 arranged close to the side plate 2 is squeezed by reciprocal movements of both plates in order to absorb the vibrations of the side plate. By so doing, the resonance vibrations of a side plate can be reduced with a simple construction. |
