<p>The control lever mechanism is for a vehicle rear view mirror, the latter being mounted in a housing. It comprises a supporting member (20) fixed to the vehicle (21), and on which there pivots on a roughly horizontal axis a right- angle foot (16). The horizontal arm of the latter accommodates a pivoting sleeve (10) turning with the lever end (13) inside the vehicle and containing a vertical spindle (7) fixed to the housing. The end of the lever thrusts the sleeve via a spring (19) bearing against the spindle head (7a). The spring in turn thrusts the sleeve into engagement with a dog clutch (9) between it and the housing.</p> |
