The mixing valve has a mainly plastics housing containing a cylindrical stop plug and a mixing member, both turned by adjusting devices, and having a common boss for two inlet unions, together with an outlet. The boss (6) is part of a central housing body (1) containing the plug (16) and the member (11). The inlet unions (7, 8) end in the first wall (9) of a mixing chamber (10), and are partly or completely masked by the member, which fits against this wall. The plug forms part of a second mixing chamber wall at right angles to the first, and its adjusting device (2) is mounted in a third wall of this chamber, also at right angles to the first, its axis of rotation coinciding with that of the plug.
