Appts. for carbon black mfr. of various shades - has jet for introducing cracked gas in-side ring burner

Appts. for C black mfr. has a heatable reaction chamber with inlet(s) for oxidant (I) and inlet(s) for a hydrocarbon gas (II). There is a ring burner in the region of the wall of the reaction chamber, to which (I) and (II) are supplied. There is also a jet inside the burner, through which a cracked gas can be introduced into the reaction chamber axially and/or tangentially. C blacks of various grades can be produced in high yields. The prods. range from MT (medium thermal) to HCC (high colour channel) blacks, esp. pigment black.
