Signal generator for TV receiver enabling curve display - contains non-volatile cell memory addressed via field memory and synchronously addressed cells

The device generating signals for a television receiver screen divided into fields associated with locations in a field memory is able to generate signals corresp. to a measurement value set curve without the expense of specialist curve tracers or large character display units. A non-volatile cell memory contg. individual field data in each cell is addressed via the field memory. A clocking and counter chain circuit generates line and image trigger signals and addresses the field memory and the addressed cells synchronously with the electron beam. The cell memory contains read-write registers. Detector registers identify a measurement point field and relative field position. A monitor checks the address validity before permitting a cell to be written to or in the event of a check failure calls up the next cell.
