The arrangement is intended for securing goods in the cargo space of a vehicle by means of straps which are tensioned and then fixed by clamps provided on the walls surrounding the space. Square C-section channels have their web fixed against the walls, and the clamps are slidable along these channels. The clamps can be frictionally clamped via a base plate handle with screw bush, and bolt with head inside the channel resting on its flanges. The clamp has a fixed jaw and a jaw movable by the handle to clamp the strap between the jaws.
