Control cable sheath mounting - has internal spring protrusion inside tubular portion

The plastics mounting is for the guide sheath of a mechanical control cable. It includes a tubular portion fitting over the sheath and lockable to it, and a nipple guiding the cable. In the tubular portion (1) a protrusion (7,9) is formed, spring-loaded towards the interior (2). It can be an oblique spring tongue, and there can be an internal stop (10) for the free end of the sheath. The tongue can be partly accommodated in a recess (8) in the tubular portion, and can be of rectangular cross-section.
