<p>The hinge has a bolt (14, 30) mounted so as to be maintenance-free, being esp for use with heavily loaded car doors. One leaf (1, 21) has hubs (5) with bearing holes (6, 25) for the bolt in the other leaf (2, 22). The bolt is rigidly mounted in the first leaf but pivots in the second, within maintenance-free composition bushings. To reduce corrosion risk, weight and material cost, there is an opening (13, 29) in the hub (11, 12;26, 27) of one leaf. The bolt (14, 30) is mounted in two bushes (15) in the hub, situated at a distance from each other.</p> |
