PURPOSE:To subject the outer surface of a synthetic resin ring to machining accurately and cheaply by chucking a resin wound bearing on the basis of an outer ring, and machining the outer surface of a synthetic resin ring fixed to the outside of the outer concentrically with the outer ring. CONSTITUTION:In a resin wound bearing 11 comprising an outer ring 12, an inner ring 13, a rolling body 14 and a synthetic resin ring 15 fixed to the outer surface 12a of the outer ring, an annular groove 16a is formed at one side surface the synthetic resin ring 15. The leading end 18a of the spring collet 18 of a collet chuck 17 is fitted in the annular groove 16a, and the outer surface 12c of the outer ring exposed is chucked by the annular groove 16a, and the outer surface 15b of the synthetic resin is subjected to machining such as turning and grinding processes. In this manner, the outer surface 15b of the synthetic resin ring is subjected to machining concentrically with the outer ring 12. |
