<p>The selection system has a counter connected at its outputs via switches to the cylinders. The counter has, e.g. 8 stages, each stage being assigned to one cylinder. A pulse generator is connected by its sync. input to the ignition line of a given cylinder and its output pulses have twice the frequency of the ignition pulses at the ignition coil. The pulse generator is connected via a frequency divider (12)(2:1) to the clock input of the counter (14). A change-over switch (32) connects one of three outputs of the counter to the switch (35) serving the first cylinder.</p> |
