The agricultural tractor can has a trough shaped well mounted between two longitudinal chassis members set over the two axles. The driving position is such that the driver's feet rest over the front axle and a roll-over frame is bolted directly onto the chassis frame. The driving position has a low centre of gravity without impairing the visibility of the front attachments, or of the rear coupling point. The engine is mounted behind the driving position.
