A process for upgrading low-grade fuel fines having a particle size of less than 25 mm comprising shaping the fines into coherent bodies and heating these bodies at a temperature of 150-375 DEG C in the presence of water at a pressure which is higher than the vapour pressure of water at the applied temperature. |
