PURPOSE:To improve some mechanical suitability such as a dot reproduction capability, a piling phenomenon and a sticking phenomenon etc. by a method wherein a recording layer (colour forming layer) in which a surface roughness and a degree of luster are limited or restricted to a specific area is arranged in a thermosensitive recording means. CONSTITUTION:On a carriage is arranged a color forming layer having a color former and a coloration agent for forming the color by being contacted with the color former, i.e. a color forming layer (recording layer) having a surface roughness Ra of 1.2mum or less and a degree of luster of 25% measured in reference to JIS BO601 standard to make a thermo-sensitive recording means. As a combination of the color former and the coloration agent contained in the color forming layer, it is possible to apply 1pt.wt of basic noncolor dye and 1-50pts.wt. of inorganic or organic acid substance. Volume of coating of the liquid for forming the color forming layer on the carriage is normally 2-15g/m<2> at a dry weight and preferably 3- 12g/m<2>. The color forming layer has an oil suction volume of 100-400ml/100g of oil suction pigment and the coarse inorganic pigment. |
