<p>The work piece support consists of one or more support slides, which are displaceable on a vertical guide, and may be locked in position. The guide consists of a threaded rod (3), and the slide (9) engages around it with a bore or recess. Part of the slide wall has a threaded cutting edge, and may selectively engage on the rod. The threaded slide section is formed as a segment of a nut, pref. halfed in axial direction with a thread, which corresponds to that of the rod. The segment is fastened to a lever, which attempts to press it against the rod, via a compression spring.</p> |
