PURPOSE:To enable a nonimpact printing and multicoloured printings with a simple structure by a method wherein an ink injection head may be moved in vertical and horizontal directions with respect to a recording paper. CONSTITUTION:Printing head means 29 fixed to the guide plate 3 has some ink injection heads 30 spaced apart by dots M and also has some nozzles 31. The head means 29 is moved up and down by a plunger 37 in a direction indicated by the arrow 41 to make some longitudinal dot printings 52a, 52b, 53c and then M steps of rightward and leftward movement in a direction indicated by the arrow 36 are performed by the movement of a cylindrical cam 11 upon repitition of the printing operation. Upon completion of the step 54, the head means will be returned to its original position. During this operation, the ink is fed to the head means 39 from the ink tank 35. After printing, the recording paper 6 is fed in a direction of arrow 27 by the paper feeding roller 7. |
