The device consists of a housing (6) which can be pushed over the fire alarm (2) to be tested. Situated in the interior of the housing is a heat-insulating protective cone (8) made of heat-resistant material. This is arranged in such a manner that its flat upper side bears against the underside of the fire alarm (2) and protects the latter against overheating. The hot-air flow is conducted past the conical surface directly into the openings (3) arranged laterally on the fire alarm. A more rapid heating of the sensor element (4) of the fire alarm is thus achieved and the necessary heating power reduced. The efficiency is thus improved considerably and the energy consumption per testing operation significantly reduced. <IMAGE> |
