<p>PURPOSE:To well maintain the sedimentation characteristic of activated sludge by contact-mixing gas and liquid in ejectors and discharging the same into an aerating vessel and breaking and cutting filamentous fungi by the pump which sucks and presses the liquid in the aerating vessel. CONSTITUTION:A mechanism which gives the action of shearing, sliding, grinding, etc. to the activated sludge passing a pump 10 which sucks and presses the liquid in an aerating vessel 1 is attached to the pump 10 to cut and break the filamentous fungi contained therein. When the activated sludge liquid which has been disintegrated of filamentous fungi and has been pressed is supplied from piping 11 to the pipeline 12 parallel installed with multiple ejectors 13, oxygen, etc. are sucked or force fed from piping 14 and contact-mixed in the liquid. This liquid in the state of gas-liquid mixed state is discharged from the ejectors 13 into the aerating vessel 1. Thereby, the bulking phenomenon by the filamentous microorganism in the activated sludge in waste water may be eliminated and the dissolved oxygen necessary for the activated sludge may be given thereto.</p> |
