<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make efficiently operable a waste treating device under a high load by sufficiently stirring a packed layer by aeration with air and also dissolving a high concentration of gaseous ozone into circulation water. SOLUTION: The packed layer 12 is formed in a treating tank 10, and is aerated with air through a diffusion pipe 28. Water in the tank is forcibly fed to a mixing device 30 with a circulation pump 28, and gaseous oxygen of a high concentration from an oxygen feed source 32 is mixed with and dissolved into the water in the mixing device 30, then the water is returned to the treating tank 10. Dissolved oxygen in the treating tank 10 is measured with a dissolved oxygen meter 36, and an oxygen quantity fed to the mixing device 30 from the oxygen feed source 32 is controlled based on the dissolved oxygen quantity measured with a control part 38.</p> |
