PURPOSE:To obtain correct focus even in taking under rear light by detecting the subject luminance while a strobe is used and holding the home position locking device not in operation when the luminance is at the specified value or more. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 4 goes ON at the strobe taking, a subject radiation lamp 29 goes on only at the search scanning. When the potential of a potentiometer 7 lowers down to the potential corresponding to a fixed-focus length, a solenoid 11 is de-energized to inhibit the movement of the taking lens. When the contrast of the subject is stressed by the auxiliary light of the lamp 29 before the home position locking device actuates and the focus detection is accomplished as a result of this, the taking lens stops moving in the position where the focus within the fixed-forcus length is matched. |
