PURPOSE:To achieve quick analysis of trace component in the test piece with a better sensitivity by shaking the mixture of the test piece and the reagent which causes luminance when added thereto in the black box and the electric output of the photomultiplier tube is counted. CONSTITUTION:The testpiece and the reagent which causes luminance when added thereto are put in and mixed in the vial 14 outside the black box and the switch is turned on simultaneously with the mixing. With the mixing, the test piece and the reagent starts reaction and a luminance is caused corresponding to the trace component in the test piece. The vial 14 is inserted into the storage 12 and the test piece and the reagent are mixed quickly by shaking with the shaker 42. Then, the first optical shutter 18 is closed while the second shutter is opened. The luminance in the vial 14 enters the light receiving surface 24a of the photoelectric multiplier 24, which provides the electric output proportional to the level of the luminance. The output is counted by the amplification counting circuit 28, where the counting time is controlled as preset by the timer of the time setting circuit 32. The counted value of the circuit 28 is indicated on the display 30 for analysis and indication of trace components. |
