PURPOSE:To utilize the field magnetic flux efficiently and to elevate the electromotive force of a monopolar generator by a method wherein a revolving armature is consisted of a cylindrical armature part and disk armature parts, and a fixed field magnet is arranged to make fluxes having prescribed magnetic directions to cross with the respective armature parts. CONSTITUTION:An armature rotor 3 is composed of a cylindrical armature part 9 and disk armature parts 10a, 10b prepared at the both end of the cylindrical armature part 9 putting insulators 8 between the armature part 9. A stator core 4 is arranged to make field magnetic fluxes 2 generated by field winding 1a, 1b to cross with the cylindrical armature in the direction of radius, and to cross with the disk armature parts 10a, 10b in the direction of the shaft. And the electromotive forces generated in the cylindrical armature part 9 and the disk armature parts 10a, 10b are made to join a series circuit composed of disk-form compensating conductor 17a, brush 11, cylindrical armature part 9, brush 12, cylindrical compensating conductor 16, brush 13, disk armature part 10a, shaft 15, disk armature part 10b, brush 14 and disk-form compensating conductor 17b. |
