The stand has a number of platforms at different heights, each with a bench seat near one lengthwise edge and a walkway parallel to the seat. The platforms slide at right angles to the seats between the retracted position where they are one above the other, and the working one where, in plan view, they are alongside each other. The benches (4) tilt 90 deg. in relation to the platforms (1) about axes (5) parallel to the edges of the latter, into a vertical position.
