The gas heater has an internal closed combustion chamber connected at the top to a smoke chamber and containing a heat exchanger, also a combustion air intake and an outlet for the burnt gases. The air intake is connected to a collar (4) concentrically enclosing the collar (8) of the burnt gas outlet, so that the gas discharge pipe (6) is concentric inside the air supply pipe (5). The combustion air intake leads into a closed chamber at least partly enclosing the combustion and smoke chambers and the heat exchanger.
