PURPOSE:To enable to save the hardward, by commonly using the breake point register for shunting the content of registers in CPU. CONSTITUTION:Breake point registers BPO and BP1 are placed outside the CPU, and they can set each one set of breake point with an I/O instruction from the emulator. Further, a comparator CMP compares the content of registers BPO and BP1 with the content of a program counter PC input via the address bus. If they are in agreement, change-over is instructed from the user program mode to the monitor program mode. Next, in the registers BPO and BP1, the content of registers which gives a trouble to post processing out of the registers in the CPU if being destroyed, or the like is shunted. Thus, the hardware can be saved. |
