PURPOSE:To reduce stress which acts to a coil in the radial direction, by winding a thermosetting synthetic resin tape around the coil which is made by winding a superconductor, and by providing a support member which is tightly fitted on the insulating layer made of said tape. CONSTITUTION:A thermosetting synthetic resin tape is wound around a coil 1. After thermosetting treatment, the peripheral surface of the insulating layer 6 is machined in conformity with an outer cylinder 4. The insulating layer is then tightly fitted in the outer cylinder. According to this constitution, the hoop force of the coil 1 is effectively transmitted to the outer cylinder 4 to reduce the stress of the superconductor and prevent troubles from occurring after assembly. |
