PURPOSE:To restart reprocessing by initializing a CPU impossible for processing and an input and output unit managed by it without giving any interference to the operation of other CPU during other processing, if a CPU in the information processing system is impossible for processing. CONSTITUTION:A command is produced from a CPU (processor) 11 to input and output devices 13, 14, and this CPU11 manages the devices 13, 14, the management of the device 14 only is made by a CPU (processor) 12 and processed with a command from the CPU12. Further, the console 15 is provided with a reset switch to initialize the system by the operator so that the devices 13, 14 and the CPU 11, 12 can respectively to initialized via initializing signal lines 16 and 17. Then, if the CPU11 or 12 is impossible for processing, the CPU11 or 12 and the input and output devices 13 and 14 managed can be reset without giving any interference to the operation of the CPU11 or 12, by the operator operating the reset switch on the console 15. |
