发明名称 PRODUCTION OF SINTERED CERAMIC CONTAINING ZIRCONIUM OXIDE
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a dense sintered material by low-temperature sintering, by blending a mixture consisting essentially of aluminum oxide and/or chromium oxide and zirconium oxide with a given amount of zinc chloride to promote sintering properties of zirconium oxide. CONSTITUTION:Zirconium oxide powder containing a stabilizer or powder consisting essentially of 20vol.% of the zirconium oxide powder, aluminum oxide and/or chromium oxide is prepared. The powder is blended with 0.01-15vol.% zinc chloride to give mixed powder, which is molded. Then, the molded article is heated in an inert gas atmosphere to evaporate zinc chloride and then sintered at 1,200-1,400 deg.C. Or the mixed powder is heated under 50-200kg/cm<2> pressure to evaporate zinc chloride and then sintered at 1,200-1,400 deg.C.
