PURPOSE:To prevent the seizure of an engine by a method wherein a tank supplying lubricating oil to a crank case is so placed that refilling is readily conducted, and an alarm mechanism is provided with the tank so as to give warning as the quantity of the oil decreases, and the restarting of the engine is made impossible after it has stopped. CONSTITUTION:Refilling is readily conducted since a lubricating oil tank 4 is placed in a fuel tank 3, and lubricating oil is supplied to a crank case 1 from a pulse pump 2 when a suction pressure extracting pipe 8 receives the suction pressure in response to the suction pressure pulse in the crank case 1. A lubricating oil senser 11 is provided on the bottom of the lubricating oil tank 4, and it is connected with an engine stopping device 15, an alarm BZ and an ignition. When a lubricating oil level becomes lower than the preset value, the alarm operates to produce a buzzing sound, reducing the ignition coil voltage to the level lower than the marginal value necessary for ignition in a circuit A. Thus the seizure of an engine is prevented by allowing the engine to restart after the oil has been supplied thereto. |
