<p>Sewing machine data input appts., has a stylus for tracing upon the input section of an input tablet board, an image of a sewing pattern, the stylus being used for manual operation of input keys including function keys, and keys indicating a number. The display shows sequential menus from which an input mode, scale, pitch, sewing speed, are respectively seleced. A liq. crystal display changes in accordance with the menu on displayed, pref. on a display descriptor responsive to numerical key operation by the stylus.
