A means for measuring the current, the temperature and/or the voltage in a thyristor (13) comprises at least one optical fibre (6) in optical contact with the thyristor, said optical fiber having the purpose of transmitting a light signal emitted from the thyristor and/or a light signal emitted to and through the thyristor, thus obtaining current-dependent, temperature-dependent and/or voltage-dependent signals which may constitute measurement values for the current, the temperature and/or the voltage occurring in the thyristor.
