<p>PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of distribution of fuel to each cylinder by providing a mixing chamber at the back of a single fuel ejection valve provided on a suction pipe and further by providing guide plates, each directed toward each cylinder in the chamber. CONSTITUTION:An air flow meter 8 is provided in a bypass 9, which opens to a venturi 10. The amount of fuel ejection from a fuel ejection valve 5, which is placed behind the venturi, is controlled by this flow meter 8. The mixing chamber 2, consisting of a collector pipe, is formed behind this ejection valve 5. Further, behind the ejection valve 5, a suction multibranch pipe 3, which is connected to each cylinder, is provided. On the surface 13, with which the fuel of mixing chamber 2 collides, a plurality of guide plates 4, which extend toward the multibranch pipe 3, are provided. Thus, the fuel distribution is performed sufficiently. Further, the walls of plates 4 form a cooling water path, and the efficiency can be further improved by heating the fuel.</p> |
