PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the lowering of a printing pattern precision appropriately by printing with the opposite sides of a pair of a plate flames warped in a mutually similar projected shape toward a printing plane. SOLUTION: By ejecting output rods from the upper and lower cylinders of a press member 48, the press member 48 is brought down toward a receiving member 46, and a screen 26 is held between a press plane 50 and a receiving plane 52. The planes 50, 52, the cross sections in the longitudinal directions of the members 48, 46 are recessed smoothly, and in the cross sections perpendicular to it, it is approximately flat. Therefore, the screen 26, with the middle part warped toward a substrate 18 only in a cross section in the sliding direction (moving direction) of a squeegee 28, is ejected as a whole from a plate frame 24 to form an approximately cylindrical plane. That is, the two-dimensional screen 26 is deformed into three-dimensional plane. As a result, the surface of the screen 26 is smooth and almost free from deformation.
