<p>Resins e.g. epoxy resins used as adhesives and casting resins are hardened by capacitive heating in a high frequency field such as is produced by, for example, a HF preheater or a microwave apparatus. The process is particularly advantageous in the glueing of headlamp parts, particularly for the glueing of diffusing lenses and reflectors for motor vehicle headlamps, thus avoiding excessive heating and thus possible distortion of the optically effective reflector.</p> |
