PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a synthetic resin molded article which is inexpensive and exhibits no decrease in mechanical properties and dose not generate warping and deformation and has good wood appearance without using an incidental installation. SOLUTION: When a colored synthetic resin is mixed with a master batch colored deeper than the synthetic resin and this is plasticized and kneaded by means of a plasticization device, the master batch is made into an insufficiently dispersed condition by bringing the degree of mixing to be at most 1,500 in the plasticizatoin device and then, after this is fed into a mold, the resin in the cavity is extended and shaped.
