The rotary cutter (5) is driven from an electric motor fitted in the housing via pinion meshing with a toothed wheel provided with a recessed body into which a hollow shaft with flanged end is operating. The toothed wheel (7) has a protruding hub by which it is seated on an axle fitted on a base plate. The other face of the wheel has a hollow body (13) with three symmetrically placed ribs (18). The hollow body has three inward angle claws (24) which axially retain the flanged end (15) of the hollow connecting shaft (6). The rotation of the toothed wheel is transmitted to the shaft and to the cutter by ribs resting against the edges of notches (20) on the flanged end.
