摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce internal resistance by allowing solid electrolyte and negative electrode to be retained in a cavity of positive electrode active substance. CONSTITUTION:The positive electrode 3 which is obtained by molding a positive electrode active substance into a concaved form through pressing is stored under pressure in a positive electrode can 4, and in the cavity, a solid electrolyte 2 and negative electrode 1 are retained. As the positive electrode active substance, a mixture of a charge transfer complex consisting of iodine and poly-4-vinylpyridine, and an excess amount of iodine is used, and as the negative electrode, metallic lithium is used, and as the electrolyte, lithium iodide is used. The positive electrode 3 which is obtained by molding into a concaved form a positive electrode active composition through pressing is stored under pressure in the positive electrode can 4, keeping good contact, and in the cavity, the negative electrode 1 which is obtained by punching metal lithium into a disc form is loaded on the positive electrode, and pressurized and unified. Lithium iodide 2, electrolyte, is formed at the interface by the pressing. Thus, the contact between the negative electrode 1 and solid electrolyte 2, and that between the solid electrolyte 2 and positive electrode 3 are improved, and the internal resistance of the cell can be reduced.
