PURPOSE:To improve the quality of printing by changing the driving time of a printing magnet in correspondence to the total number of magnets driving simultaneously and thereby stabilizing the operation of a printing element constantly. CONSTITUTION:When printing data signals PD1-PD7 are supplied, the total number of printing magnets energized simultaneously is detected by a driving magnet total number detecting circuit 1 and any one of driving quantity signals N1-N3 is outputted. AND gates AG8-AG10 are provided for generating a driving signal for time corresponding to the total number of printing magnets energized simultaneously, sending out selectively the time signal for a longer time as the total number of magnets energized simultaneously increases. Such a time signal joins in AND gates AG1-AG7 through an OR gate OG1 and, gating the printing data signals PD1-PD7, controls the time for impressing driving signals DV1-DV7 on to a printing magnet driving circuit 3. |
