The servo adjustment system alters the setting of a vehicle headlamp in which the main adjuster comprises a spindle (16) threaded through a control cam (23) which locates on a second cam (18) secured on the body mounting. The two cams are linked by sloping faces and their relative setting is operated by a remote control and an electric servo motor. The spindle provides manual adjustment to the basic setting while the servo drive is linked to an automatic load compensator as well as to a remote control on the dashboard.
