The punch with changeable printing text is for thermographic paper, having a number of heating resistances cut in as desired to produce the text required. Contact pairs (8) are provided to measure the pressure with which the punch is applied to the paper, and these switch the resistances on when the pressure exceeds a threshold value. The current to the resistances can be supplied bia selector switches set by an external controller via a flexible cable (9). The contact pairs are separated by a spring (7) with ends passing over the periphery of the contact (18) at each end.
