PURPOSE:To obtain the above WAKAME seaweed, capable of directly sustaining freshness, hardly putrefiable without discoloring and suitable for mass production and sales, by heat-treating WAKAME seaweed with an oil. CONSTITUTION:The aimed WAKAME seaweed obtained by heating an oil, e.g., at >=150 deg.C, and treating WAKAME seaweed therewith.
