摘要 The present invention relates to the processing of rubbing surfaces in parts operating in friction conditions such as the connecting-rod-piston group in an internal combustion engine, the guides of metal-cutting machines, etc. This method involves processing the rubbing surface using antifriction blocks having a hardness 3 to 5 times lower than that of the surface to be treated. The processing is carried out until a given profile is obtained at the surface that comprises flat sections with low-height micro-irregularities forming a reference surface area as well as deep hairlines. The relative reference surface area at the level p1 = 0.7 - 1.2 mu m relative to the maximal protruding line ranges from 80 to 95 % while it ranges from 50 to 75 % at the section of the profile p2 = 0.2 - 0.5 mu m relative to the maximal protruding line, provided that the maximal width of the hairlines at the level p1 does not exceed 100 mu m. The pressure force applied by the blocks onto the surface to be treated ranges from 2 to 6 kg/cm<2> and the blocks have the following composition: from 40.0 to 75.0 wt % of copper; from 2.0 to 17.0 wt % of a low-melting metal; from 2.0 to 10.0 wt % of an antifriction material; from 10.0 to 40.0 wt % of a fine-dispersion abrasive material; and from 2.0 to 10.0 wt % of a thickener.
