PURPOSE:To form the piezoelectric crystal oscillator small in size and high in the performance, by providing flat electrode on the front and rear sides and making thin the part other than the electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The part 17 on the surface other than the electrode 15 and the part 18 on the rear side other than the electrode 16 are engraved respectively with etching, and the thickness of the oscillator 14 is thick at the center A and thin at both the ends B, C other than the electrodes either on front or rear side. By forming the piezoelectric crystal oscillator like this, the shape is similar to the bevel and convex type, resulting in obtaining the oscillator of small size and high performance. Further, the metal film being the electrode is formed at both the sides of the thin plate of piezoelectric crystal, this metal film is split with photo etching processing, the metal film being the electrode is masked and the part other than the electrode is engraved with etching, and the thin plate is cut off longitudinally and transversally, allowing to make a number of oscillators at a bundle. |
