PURPOSE:A composition for the oral cavity capable of blending stably an active ingredient apt to lose its activity readily, obtained by adding salt coating grains prepared through the application of NaCl to a given inclusion component to a composition for oral cavity containing a specific amount of NaCl. CONSTITUTION:An oral cavity composition having not less than a saturated solubility of NaCl is blended with salt coating grains consisting of the core material 1 covered with NaCl to form the salt coating layer 2. The core material 1 comprises active ingredients of inclusion components, e.g., a coloring mater (e.g., a water- soluble coloring matter, pigment, dye, etc.), a fluoride (e.g., soldium monofluorophosphate, etc.), an enzyme (e.g., dextranase, etc.), etc. apt to lose its activity by water or by contact with other ions. The grain diameters are 100-500mu, and 0.01- 5wt% base on a toothpaste baste of the grains is added to give a composition for oral cavity. Since the inclusion components are isolated until they are used, the active ingredients can discharge in using and exhibit good effect. |
