PURPOSE:To perform uniform-speed movement of a driven unit smoothly with large starting torque by applying a specified voltage to a motor coil at a specified time of initial driving of a driven unit, thereafter applying pulses with a specified cycles. CONSTITUTION:A carriage CA with an ink-jet nozzle NP for a recorder contains a coil C, performs reciprocating movement in cooperation with a magnetic circuit comprising a permanent magnet PM and a sliding shaft Y2. The position and speed of said carriage CA is sensed by a slit plate OS and a photodiode LE and a phototransistor PT in the carriage CA. The outputs of a counter BNP and one-shot multivibrators OSP1 and OSP2 are applied to an NAND gate PND. A specified current is continuously flowed at the time of starting, thereafter pulses with specified cycles are flowed, thereby a coil C is controlled. Therefore, the starting torque can be made large, and the uniform-speed movement can be stably accomplished. |
