PURPOSE:To perform uniform-speed movement of a driven unit precisely with good response when the speed of the driven unit has attained a constant speed by applying a reverse driving pulse to a motor coil depending on the sensed signal of said speed. CONSTITUTION:A carriage CA with an ink-jet nozzle NP for a recorder contains a coil C, performs reciprocating movement in cooperation with a magnetic circuit comprising a permanent magnet PM and a sliding shaft Y2. The position and speed of said carriage CA is sensed by a slit plate OS and a photodiode LE and a phototransistor PT in the carriage CA. The output from a flip-flop SRF which is operated by the sensed signal TP and a counter CCH are applied to exclusive OR gates XF and XB, thereby a driver MD is controlled. Therefore, the pulses in the reverse direction can be applied to the coil C and the speed can be quickly decreased, and the uniform-speed movement can be accomplished with good response. |
