PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the battery states of the battery modules of a set battery with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This monitoring circuit is provided with the set battery connected with a plurality of battery modules in series, battery state detecting circuits connected to individual battery modules, and a battery state judging circuit judging the states of the battery modules or the state of the set battery based on the outputs from the battery state detecting circuits. Each battery state detecting circuit is provided with a voltage detector detecting the battery voltage of each battery module, an A/D converter converting the output of the voltage detector into a digital signal, and a transmitting circuit transmitting the digital signal of the A/D converter to the battery state judging circuit. |
