PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for safely and accurately analyzing purity of nitride for decomposing nitride unstable to moisture, such as lithium nitride or the like by water to generate ammonia and determinating generated ammonia by a Kjeldahl distillation method to calculate a nitrogen component. SOLUTION: The method for analyzing the purity of nitride has a step for bringing a prescribed amount of nitride which is unstable with respect to moisture into contact with humidified inert gas to deactivate nitride, a step for determinating the amount of ammonia generated by allowing water or an alkali aqueous solution to act on deactivated nitride and the amount of ammonia generated in the step for deactivating nitride and a step for calculating a nitrogen component of nitride from the determinated amounts of ammonia. |
