PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform database management that imparts an input point number with an added node number to an input signal and to enable decentralization type constitution on a network. SOLUTION: Inputs from a plant input/output device 6 and an H/T(handy terminal) 9 are processed and saved in a plant data storage table based upon input point numbers. In journal tabulation, a table document format generated by general spread sheet software 12 is used to display and print a document and define editing data. The same format with the document format is used to define editing information and then necessary cell information for document editing can be defined while being confirmed on a screen. Consequently, the consistency of the document format to the editing information is improved and the document format can be generated, displayed, and printed by the general spread sheet software 12, so that the operability is good.
