PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device for selecting the spectrum of at least one part of light components from a multicolor light beam and constituted so that diverse spectrum selecting performance is realized by simple design. SOLUTION: This optical device for selecting the spectrum of at least one part of the light components from the multicolor light beam (1) is constituted of a dispersion medium (2) for spatially spectrally diffusing the multicolor light beam (1) to an individual beam (3) and attenuation means (5 and 6) for at least partially attenuating the intensity of one or more beams (3) for the purpose of the diverse spectrum selecting performance.
